FIND THE RIGHT CLASS FOR YOUR DOG
Puppy Training
Give your puppy the best possible start with structured training designed to develop good habits from an early age.
Puppy training can help with:
-
Basic obedience
-
Focus and engagement
-
Recall foundations
-
Lead walking
-
Impulse control
-
Confidence
-
Calm behaviour
-
Everyday manners
My aim is to help you understand your puppy while giving them the skills they need to grow into a confident and well-mannered adult dog.
TEENAGE PUP GROUP
The teenage stage can be one of the most challenging periods of a dog's development. Your once-perfect puppy may suddenly become more distracted, independent and easily excited. My teenage pup group helps owners work through these changes while continuing to build reliable behaviours.
Sessions can focus on:
-
Improving focus
-
Recall
-
Impulse control
-
Lead manners
-
Working around distractions
-
Building confidence
-
Maintaining good communication
GUNDOG & IMPULSE CONTROL
My gundog-inspired training techniques can be incredibly useful for everyday pet dogs. The emphasis is on teaching your dog to think, focus and respond, even when exciting distractions are present.
You'll work on skills such as:
-
Impulse control
-
Recall
-
Focus
-
Engagement
-
Responsiveness
-
Working around distractions
-
Greater off-lead reliability
The goal is to help create a dog that doesn't simply react to everything around them but learns to pause, listen and make better choices.
TRACKING
Put your dog's natural abilities to work with tracking training. Tracking provides dogs with an opportunity to use their incredible sense of smell while developing concentration, confidence and problem-solving skills. It's both mentally stimulating and rewarding, making it a fantastic activity for dogs that love to use their noses.
AGILITY
Agility is a fantastic way to combine training, exercise and fun. Working together through an agility course helps improve your dog's focus, coordination and responsiveness while strengthening the bond between dog and owner. It's suitable for dogs and owners looking for an enjoyable activity while continuing to develop their training skills.
Agility classes are currently available on:
Thursday - 5:30 pm
Saturday - 12:00 pm
REACTIVE DOG GROUP
Living with a reactive dog can sometimes make everyday walks challenging. My reactive dog group provides structured training to help owners better understand their dog's behaviour and develop strategies for managing reactions.
Training can focus on:
-
Improving focus on the handler
-
Increasing distance from triggers
-
Developing alternative behaviours
-
Building confidence
-
Improving communication
-
Helping dogs remain calmer around distractions.
The aim is to give both you and your dog greater confidence and understanding.
